The village of Boiadjik is situated in the south-eastern part of Bulgaria, 20 km from Yambol, 80 km from Stara Zagora, 50 km from Sliven, 120 km form the South Black sea coast and the coastal town of Burgas (where an International Airport is located). The hamlet of Boiadjik is located in Tundja municipality – the second largest municipality of Bulgaria, in the Yambol region. The name is connect with the Bulgarian history. The Tundja municipality was founded under an edict of chairman of the council of state of the People's Republic of Bulgaria from 10.10.1987years. It embrace a territory of 121886 sq. m. The village of Boiadjik has very old history. Two years before the Liberation of Bulgarian of Turkish slavery, in 1876 - at the time of ” Aprilskoto Vustanie“, the villagehad been burnt down and the population was killed The village of Boiadjik is birthplace of Djon Atanasov – the computer inventor . The Tundja municipality cover the western part of a region with administravive centre – Yambol and abuts upon the municipalities – Sliven, Straldja, Elhovo, Nova Zagora and Topolovgrad. The relief is flat and slightly hilly. The climate is temperate in the region. The following rivers: Tundja, Kalnitsa and Mychyritsa pass through the are of the Municipality. Mladovo – Bezmer canal for watering has been built , as well as a transport -derivation canal ' Ovcharitsa', and 65 artifical lakes irrigates Tracian lowland. The Manastirski elevations with abounding in pokcets of fines (granite) in the west are spread . In the east, among the field is situated the Haidouk Bakadjik. In the 'heart' of the minucipality Sveti Iliiski elevations are located. A definite plus of the location of the village of Boiadjik is its proximity to Bulgarian-Turkish border giving the unique opportunity to get familiar with other culture.
